BIO:

Cynthia was a passenger in a car accident in 2015, she was 23 at the time and in school to become a paralegal. Cynthia had two skull fractures, a broken jaw, broken wrist, and severe TBI as a result of the motor vehicle accident. Figuring out adult life as someone with a brain injury has been challenging. As well as finding a community; thankfully the wonderful brain injury community on instagram has changed that. Cynthia provides tips on living with a brain injury, and her baking on her social media account where she provides baking inspiration and fulfills custom orders. Movement and getting out into nature have been big parts of the success of her recovery, as well as finding the right team of doctors/therapists. Cynthia is currently on a spiritual journey to better understand her near death experience and the trauma that resulted from her injury.
